FPS Lounge brings in Mo & Krill to lock down a 2-0 victory over BWC to play in tomorrow's NS challenger match for a piece of that $2500+ prize pool.

FPS Lounge dominated Bird with Clock, winning 2-0 to advance to NS #38. FPS Lounge kept complete control the entire way through, hardly missing any buffs, urns, or whatever in-between. Combining both games, FPS Lounge had a lead of 137k souls - which helped them secure 92 frags to Bird with Clock's measly 27 frags tonight.

Game 1: FPS Lounge locks it down with Mo & Krill

FPS Lounge kept the momentum going from lane all the way to the destruction of Bird with Clock's patron. They manage to end with a staggering 73.4k soul lead, giving them total reign of the lobby.

Some key heroes were rocaine's Warden going 11/1/11, leading in the most souls, player, and objective damage, earning him MVP for this match. The only hero to beat him in kills was Poppers' Shiv - who happens to be a new addition to FPS Lounge's roster - going a clean 12/0/21. A solid debut for his first tournament match with the team.

While rocaine and Poppers were playing standard meta heroes, an interesting draft by FPS Lounge was hydration playing Mo & Krill, a hero we haven't seen played in high level tournaments since around late March. It worked in their favor, as hydration was able to consistently secure kills on heroes like Maht's Pocket and Arctic's Mirage.

Game 2: FPS Lounge secures the 2-0

FPS Lounge carried the momentum from Game 1 straight into Game 2, not taking their feet off the gas. Ending with a 63.5k soul lead, Bird with Clock managed to put up more of a fight until mid game but were soon overran once again.

It's no surprise that rocaine's Warden has once again earned MVP for this short series, going 12/2/18. While he was beat out by Poppers's Yamato in pure hero damage and one kill, rocaine managed to pump out a staggering 20k in objective damage, purging Bird with Clock's defenses.

FPS Lounge Dominates

Sometimes, there is no light way to put it. FPS Lounge looked extremely competitive and clean in both of these matches. Bird with Clock was struggling to match the pace FPS Lounge set. FPS Lounge's macro was the real MVP with them consistently cleaning up their jungle, securing statues, and sinners. With no answer from Bird with Clock, FPS Lounge came together in a terrifying death ball driven by rocaine's Warden to secure both wins.

FPS Lounge will be advancing to NS #38's challenger match to face off against Melee Creeps for their chance at the weekly $2500+ prize pool.
