DLNS NA #38 preview: Who can stop Floormen in the NA?

The Deadlock Night Shift NA #38 is around the corner. Will MLC be able to Challenge Floormen?

The DLNS NA #38 started with the return of FPS Lounge, who won 2-0 against Bird with Clock. Now they will face off against Melee Creeps in the Challenger bracket to decide who will take on Floormen this week.

Floormen seems to be the true big boss of NA. The team has looked unstoppable since Dimov joined. They are 10-1 in DLNS since then and show no signs of slowing down. The big question is: who can stop them, and how?

FPS Lounge vs Melee Creeps

What to expect from this match: FPS Lounge comes off a break week and looks very fresh. They stomped BWC with two almost perfect games – setting the match’s pace, controlling objectives and buffs, and just suffocating their opponents. Shoutout to hydration’s Mo & Krill in game 1 and rocaine’s Warden. The big question is: will they carry that momentum into today?

On the other hand, MLC is hoping for a rematch against Floormen and wants things to go differently this week. In DLNS NA #37, Floormen swept them and claimed the win. Dimov died only three times across both maps, showing how dominant he has been on the NA server. As they head back to the Challenger bracket, MLC will need to refocus for this week. JonJon and Saiah were the only bright spots last week, so expect them to perform well in a more favorable scenario.

How it Went

MLC secured the victory against FPS Lounge with a clutch performance from eidorian and his Pocket, who dealt an astonishing 78k player damage. He nullified Snakes’s Victor and Hydration’s Mo & Krill. Now they will have their rematch with Floormen.

The big boss: Floormen

As mentioned before, Floormen is the dominant team in NA since Dimov joined. They dominated the last two DLNS NA events. Dimov has been the MVP for the team, but other players have had their moments to shine too. League did pretty well with their Lady Geist against FPS Lounge; in game 2, DMB’s Mina played alongside Dimov. Last week, it was time for Zeno’s Yamato to shine – in game 1 and then again in game 2 against MLC. Maybe shutting down Dimov can work, but focusing on him will open up space for the others to make plays too. So it’s a classic “caught between a rock and a hard place” situation.
